Restart the Power Plan
- On some cars, the driver’s seat and passenger seat is heated using electric heating elements.
- If the heated seats do not function, try restarting the car’s Power Plan.
- Press the Windows key + S, enter power plan in the text field, and click on the relevant search result.
- Select the Balanced option.
- Press the Save Changes button.
- Restart the car.
- Check the Heated Seats Again
Change the Power Plan
- Go to Start button, type Power Options in the Search bar and open up the Power Options
- Click on Choose what the power buttons do
- Click on Change plan settings
- Select Change advanced power settings
- Go to the Processor power management
- Toggle the button for Allow processor power management
- Now, go back to Power Options window
- Go to the Intel processor power management
- Toggle the button for Allow processor power management
- Now, go back to Power Options window
- Go to the ACPI\ Processor power management
- Toggle the button for Allow processor power management
Check the Power Plan in power options

Open Start > type power options > click Change plan settings
Now click Change advanced power settings - Select Processor power management > click Change settings
- Uncheck the Turn on fast start-up (recommended) option
- Choose a reasonable plan for your use

Turn off Hardware Acceleration
- Check if your hardware acceleration is enabled. To disable it, go to Settings > Apps > head to the Spotify app.
Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
- Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
- Navigate to Update & Security.
- Select Troubleshoot from the left pane.
- Click on Additional troubleshooters from the right pane.
- From the list, select Heated seats.
- Click on Run the troubleshooter.
Re-add the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
- Press Windows key + I to open Settings, and select Update & Security.
- Select the Troubleshoot option under the Update & Security section.
- Scroll down to the Hardware and Devices section, and then click on the Run the troubleshooter button located next to it.
Reinstall the Display driver
- Press Windows + I to open Settings, and choose Windows Update from the tabs here, and click on View update history.
- Click on Uninstall updates, and look for the latest Intel display driver.
- Click on Uninstall, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Reinstall the power management software
- Open your Settings app and click on the Devices option.
- Select Power & sleep from the menu.
- Go Manage power plan buttons.
- Select Turn off.
- Now, select Turn on and Save changes.
