Check if your antivirus is blocking the installation
- Disable the antivirus
- Check the firewall settings
- Make sure the MSI file is downloaded
- Run the MSI file as an administrator
Run the msiexec.exe as administrator
- Right-click on the msi file to open the context menu
- Select Properties
- Click the Compatibility tab
- Check the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” checkbox
- Click Apply and click OK
- Right-click on the msi file and select the Run as administrator option
- Press the Windows key + R hotkey
- Enter cmd in the text field
- Right-click on Command prompt and select Run as administrator
- Type the msiexec /g /i command and press Enter
Enable the debug mode for the installation
- Click on Start and select Settings.
- Go to Update & Security.
- Now click on Troubleshoot.
- Select Windows Update and select Advanced Options.
- Under Advanced Options, click on Run the troubleshooter.
Run the msiexec.exe with administrative privileges
- To open the Run app, press the Windows key + R keyboard hotkey.
- Then type msiexec /i in the Open text box, and click the OK button.
- Next, press the F5 hotkey to refresh the msiexec window.
- Enter the /i parameter in the Command prompt window, and press Enter.
