- Once System Configuration window opens, go to the Services tab. Now carefully check all services and make sure that all of them are disabled.
- Now go back to the General tab, and in Startup type drop-down menu select Automatic. Finally, click Apply and OK to save changes.

Run the SFC scan
- To do that, press Windows + S to input cmd in the search box, and right-click Command prompt to select Run as administrator.
- Enter sfc /scannow in the Command prompt, and press the Return key.
- The SFC scan will try to repair any corrupted system files.
Perform a system restore
- Press Windows key + R to open Run, type system restore in the text field, and hit Enter or click OK.
- In the new window, choose the appropriate restore point.
- Click Next.
- Wait for the process to finish, and restart your computer.
Perform a System File Checker scan
- Press the Windows key + S, type cmd, and select Run as administrator under Command prompt.
- Type the sfc /scannow command, and press the Enter button.
- Wait for the scanning process to complete.
Perform a System Restore
- Press Windows + R to open Run, type cmd in the text field, and click OK.
- Now, type the following command and hit Enter: sfc/scannow
- The System File Checker will now start to run, and once it’s done, press the OK button.
