Understanding and Fixing New Vista File System Errors

New Vista File System errors can occur on your PC for a number of reasons.
> I recently built a new computer with Windows 7 Professional. All went well except > when I installed a new hard drive. All went well until I tried to install > Microsoft Office 2010.
These errors are caused because of a corruption in the file system.

  • Vista introduced the new File Allocation Table (FAT) file system, which was replaced by the modern File Allocation Table (NTFS).
  • The NTFS is the file system compatible with Windows 8 and above, so, if you’re running older Windows versions, you have nothing to worry about.
