Perform a System File Checker scan
- First, open Command prompt as an administrator.
- Run the sfc /scannow command.
- If so, the sfc scan will repair any corrupted system files.
Perform a DISM scan
- To do that, open the Run accessory with the Windows + R hotkey. Enter †̃DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth’ in Run’s text box, and press the OK button.
- Then press the Scan button, and press the Finish button.

- Start your computer in Safe Mode.
- Click the Start button and select the Power button.

- In the elevated Windows Security window, click the Continue button.
- In the System Restore window, select the Click a restore point button.
