Uninstall the latest version of MalwareBytes and then install the previous version
- Download MalwareBytes Free from here.
- Uninstall the current version.
- Press Win+R keys on your keyboard and type appwiz.cpl.
- Press Enter to open the Programs and Features window.
- Click on the MalwareBytes Free entry and press the Uninstall option.
- Restart your PC.
- Open your browser and download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.0.7 version.
- Run the setup and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
Uninstall virus program or antivirus
- To uninstall malicious software, open Run by pressing the Windows key + R.
- Enter appwiz.cpl in the Open box, and press the OK button.
