Run SFC and DISM scans
- Press Windows Key + X and choose Command prompt (Admin) or Command prompt (Admin) (as the case may be).
- In the Command prompt, type the following command and press Enter: sfc /scannow
- Wait for the process to finish, then close the Command prompt.
- Open Run with the Windows Key + R.
- Type the following line and press Enter: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
- Wait for the process to finish, then close the Command prompt.
Run the SFC scan
- Press the Windows key + S, type cmd, and select Run as administrator under the Command prompt option.
- Type the command below and hit Enter: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
- Wait for a few minutes while the program scans your system
- Once it’s done, type the command below and hit Enter: sfc /scannow
Run the DISM scan
- Download and run the DISM.exe tool.
- Select the Online option and click on Next.
- Wait for the scan to complete.

Update IE
- Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
- Select Update & Security from the left pane, then click Check for updates in the right pane.
- Download the latest version of IE

- Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
