Use third party software
- Download and install Digital Camera Recovery from this link.
- Follow the instructions to install Digital Camera Recovery.
- Connect your camera to your PC and launch Digital Camera Recovery.
- Select your camera and click Next.
- Select the JPEG or RAW image and click Recover.
Run the Camera USB Device troubleshooter
- Press Windows + I to open the Settings app, and select Troubleshoot from the tabs on the left.
- Click on the Run the troubleshooter button under Hardware and Sound.
- Select Cameras and Scanners, and click OK.

- Press the Run button.
- Press the Next button.
- Then click the Next button again.

Run a System File Checker scan
- Press the Windows key + S, type cmd, and select Run as administrator under Command prompt.
- Type the command below and press Enter: sfc /scannow
- Wait until the scan is completed (it can take hours).
- Finally, restart your PC.
Run the SFC scan

Press Windows Key + R and enter cmd. Now choose Run as administrator from the menu.
When Command prompt starts, enter sfc /scannow and click OK.
