Check the drain hose
- If the dishwasher is leaking water, it may be because the drain hose is blocked. Remove all dishes from the dishwasher and check to see if the water drains properly. If not, remove the drain hose from the sink and clean it.
- Check the drain hose for blockages or clogs
- If the dishwasher is leaking water at the bottom, check to see if the water is leaking from the drain hose.
- Make sure the drain hose is properly connected
- If the dishwasher is leaking water at the sides, check to see if there is any clogging in the drain hose.
- Check for clogged drain hose
- If the dishwasher is leaking water at the top, check the seal around the door of the dishwasher.
Perform a Quick Check
- Remove the dishes and run the dishwasher through its cold wash cycle.
- Empty the dishwasher after each cycle.
- Clean the filters.
- Check the drain hose for clogs, and check the entire drain system for any obstructions.
Check the power
- Locate the circuit breaker for the dishwasher. The circuit breaker should usually be located either under the sink or in the electrical panel.
- Flip the circuit breaker to the off position.
- Wait for 10 seconds and flip the circuit breaker back on.
- Test the dishwasher again.
