Start the Windows Defender Firewall
- Go to Start > Windows Defender Firewall.
- Click the Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off option.
- Click the Allow a program through Windows Defender Firewall link in the left pane.
- There will be a list of programs and apps listed.
- Mark the Windows Defender Firewall and Antivirus (Recommended) option and click Ok.
Check your antivirus
- Disable your antivirus temporarily and check for any improvements.
- If disabling the antivirus doesn’t resolve the error, try disabling it in Safe Mode.
- Uninstall (remove) the application
Re-authorize the Microsoft Store
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other people.
- Under Manage other people, click Add someone else to this PC.
- Under Add a user, click I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.
- Type the user’s Microsoft account email address.
- Click Next.

Reset Internet Explorer
- Open the Run utility by pressing the Windows + R keys.
- Type appwiz.cpl in the Run utility’s text box, and press the OK button.
- Select the Internet Explorer option on the Select an App screen.
- Click the Remove button to open the confirmation prompt.
- Press the OK button to confirm.
- Thereafter, close the Run utility.
Download the latest Windows updates
- Restart the computer and press the Windows key + S keyboard shortcut.
- Enter updates in the text field.
- Select the Windows Update option.
- Click Check for updates.
Create a new user account
- Go to Start > type user accounts > hit Enter
- Go to your user account > click on the arrow next to your name > select Change account type
- Move to Admin account
Run SFC Scan
- Press Windows Key + S and enter cmd. Now choose Run as administrator from the list of results.
- When Command prompt starts, enter the following command and press Enter to run it: sfc/scannow
- Wait until the scan is finished (it might take a while).
- Restart your computer.
Delete Temp Files
- Open Windows Search, type %temp%, and open the folder.
- Delete all the contents in the folder.
- Restart your PC.
- Check if the problem is resolved.
- Run Disk Cleanup Utility
Open Windows Search, type cleanmgr, and open Cleanmgr. - In Disk Cleanup, search for Temporary files.
- Check all the files and click OK.
- Restart your PC.
