Rename the Antivirus Premium folder
- Press the Windows key + E hotkey, which opens File Explorer.
- Type %appdata% in the address bar, and press the Return key to open the search results shown directly below.
- Then press the Shift key + Right-click, and select the Rename option.
- Enter a new title for the folder, and press the Enter key.
- Rename the Antivirus Premium folder to something else, such as AVProtect.
- Then restart Windows after renaming the folder.
Disable Antivirus Premium
- Press Windows Key + R, type appwiz.cpl, and click OK.
- Locate Avira Antivirus Premium, right-click it and choose Uninstall.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
- Restart your PC.

Reinstall the software
- Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
- Type appwiz.cpl and click OK.
- Select Antivirus Premium from the list and click on Uninstall.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
- Perform a Clean Install
Press Windows Key + R to open Run. - Type appwiz.cpl and click OK.
- Select Antivirus Premium from the list and click on Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
Remove any third-party antivirus
- Some antivirus programs have conflicts with the premium version of McAfee.
- Remove any such third-party antivirus.
- Restart the PC after removing the third-party antivirus.
Uninstall Adobe Air
- Open Adobe Air and uninstall it via the Adobe Air application menu.
- Navigate to the Program Files directory.

Reset your Adobe ID

- Go to https://account.adobe.com/register/reset/
- Enter your 10-digit Adobe ID and your password.
- Click Continue and follow the instructions on the screen to reset it.
- Reinstall the software
If the error persists even after resetting your ID, reinstall the software. - Go to Adobe’s official website.
- Navigate to the Download Creative Cloud button.
- Select your version of Windows and download the installer.
- Run the installer.
- Select your language, agree to the terms and conditions, and sign in with your Adobe ID and password.
- Select Install and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
