Disable and re-enable Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Run the Adobe application, and on the menu, click on the Edit menu
- Select the Preferences option
- Click on the General tab
- Under the Enable Protected View option, click Disable
- Click on the Enable button
- Close the Preferences window
- Launch the Adobe Acrobat Reader

Disable Protected Mode
